Campus Driver/Expeditor

Responsibilities

• Run errands for Facilities Management and Services
• Deliver, set up, break down, and return tables and chairs for campus functions
• Manage campus-wide distribution of newspapers and supplies
• Handle special mailing pick-ups and deliveries
• Fulfill special transportation requests
• Provide assistance to the grounds crew as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current valid Georgia Driver’s License
• Good driving record with the ability to safely navigate Atlanta streets
• Ability to drive a truck with a manual transmission
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, faculty, and the general public
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience driving vans or trucks
