About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Campus Card Office, including maintaining supply levels across campuses
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise student employees
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service to patrons in person, via writing, and by telephone
- Perform maintenance on Campus Card equipment located throughout the university
- Securely withdraw and deposit funds from campus transaction machines
- Resolve inquiries and discrepancies by determining appropriate corrective actions within established guidelines
- Maintain the office website and update distributed publications
- Ensure the strict confidentiality of all student and employee records
Requirements
- College degree
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic math skills and ability to handle financial transactions
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage difficult customer situations calmly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cash handling
- Experience with CS Gold or CBORD software
- Experience with PeopleSoft software
