About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead groups of children through various activities including arts and crafts, sports, and more
- Ensure the safety of children while participating in activities
- Plan, organize, and implement curriculum and activities for youth-focused specialty programs
- Maintain positive relations with children, parents, staff, and leadership
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or previous camp/childcare experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to provide active supervision of children for 8-9 hours a day
- High energy and exceptional motivational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to pass reference checks, drug screens, background checks, and sex offender checks
