About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the health and wellness of campers and staff
- Provide medical attention to campers and staff with minor injuries
- Distribute and record camper medications in accordance with Medication Dispensing Form
- Maintain treatment records and complete injury reports
- Communicate with parents in a professional, caring manner
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Current EMT or equivalent certification
- Must maintain updated CPR and First Aid/AED certifications
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to complete YMCA required training
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children and/or young adults
