Camp Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the assigned camp
• Uphold camp and workplace health and safety standards
• Provide quality customer service by addressing client requests and concerns
• Supervise, train, and manage staff performance
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and regular meetings
• Inspect camp cleanliness, food quality, and presentation
• Control inventory to meet or exceed expectations
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
• Maintain project budget by tracking occupancy, staffing, and expenses
• Perform administrative tasks including room bookings and client liaison
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in remote camps
• Valid Advanced Food Safety certificate
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to pass a criminal records check
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid First Aid Certification
• Education in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management
