Requirements
CPR certification, First Aid certification, Youth work experience preferred
About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive role model for children ages 6 to 13
- Facilitate fun and engaging outdoor activities to help campers build relationships and try new things
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Model the YMCA core values of Caring, Courage, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
Requirements
- Ability to attend pre-camp training and orientation
- Must hold or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Energetic and fun-loving personality suitable for a summer camp environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working or volunteering with youth
