Camera Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface between camera architecture and camera firmware teams
• Translate camera system requirements into firmware execution and validation plans
• Support camera bring up, debug, and performance analysis across multiple platforms
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for camera testing and validation
• Assist with camera tuning workflows, including image quality evaluation and parameter optimization
• Collaborate with firmware teams on camera driver behavior, integration, and issue resolution
• Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to architecture and firmware stakeholders
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of camera development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience working with camera systems, imaging pipelines, or embedded platforms
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams delivering complex camera features
• Strong understanding of camera system architecture (sensors, optics, ISP, and firmware interaction)
• Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and data analysis
• Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware development workflows
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with camera tuning and image quality evaluation
• Experience with camera drivers or low-level camera bring-up
• Experience with video conferencing cameras, multi-camera systems, or AI-assisted imaging
• Exposure to image quality metrics, subjective evaluation, and lab-based testing
• Experience with hardware bring-up, sensor characterization, or ISP configuration
