About the role
Responsibilities
- Support Qualcomm Snapdragon IoT customers for design-win projects
- Help customers understand Qualcomm Camera solution, software, and algorithms
- Deliver high-quality camera ISP performance within project schedules
- Provide instructions and on-site support to resolve customer issues
- Identify and report bugs to the development team and perform root cause analysis
Requirements
- 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience
- 2+ years of experience with debugging techniques
- 2+ years of experience with C, C++, Java, or Python
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Android or Linux camera development
- Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel and Device Driver Model
- Experience with Linux camera sensor driver bring-up
- Experience in Camera HAL development
- Knowledge of 3A algorithms, ISP pipeline, and tuning
- Familiarity with MIPI, I2C, and GPIOs
- Experience with Image Signal Processing (ISP)
- Knowledge of Linux framework (V4L2)
- Experience in multimedia software development for Linux-based embedded systems
