About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create smooth, fluid camera movements to enhance production value for News, Sports, and Entertainment shows.
  • Set up, balance, troubleshoot, and maintain studio hard cameras and associated equipment.
  • Operate zoom and focus controls with a strong sense of visual composition.
  • Follow production rundowns and take direction effectively within a team environment.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner to prevent injury or damage to property.
  • Provide creative input to Directors and Producers regarding show aesthetics and shot selection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in television production or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a control room broadcast facility.
  • Hands-on experience with Vinten studio pedestals, including builds and maintenance.
  • Experience with studio configuration cameras, box lenses, and related peripherals.
  • Physical ability to lift camera equipment, lenses, and counterweights, and to move full-size pedestals.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Availability for 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
