Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on a wide variety of equipment using standards for pressure, temperature, flow, and conductivity
• Operate calibration standards, hand tools, and power tools competently
• Conduct filter certification, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative/predictive maintenance
• Utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to complete work orders, SOPs, SAP (CMMS), and equipment logbooks
• Comply with regulatory requirements including APHIS, VMD, and OSHA
• Assist with hazardous waste pickup and comply with all HAZWOPER training and safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong technical aptitude
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment following procedures like Lockout/tagout and PPE requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field such as Electro-Mechanical
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing
• Prior calibration experience in a regulated (FDA, USDA, etc.) or GMP-industry environment
