Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations of measuring instruments in the field and in the laboratory
• Execute calibrations across all SSA service disciplines (pressure, temperature, flow, dimensional, electrical, etc.)
• Document and record calibration results according to established procedures
• Identify equipment out of tolerance and generate non-conformity reports
• Perform periodic maintenance and verification of reference standards and laboratory equipment
• Coordinate safe transport of equipment and instruments between worksites
• Complete service reports accurately and on time
• Support internal and external audits related to calibration processes

Requirements

• Experience in calibration of measuring instruments
• Knowledge of field and lab calibrations across multiple disciplines
• Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in instrumentation, engineering, science, or a related field
• Own vehicle available for travel to worksites
• Availability to work overtime and weekends when necessary
• Availability to travel when necessary
• Bilingual skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant license or certification from the Puerto Rico Department of State
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standard
