About the role

Responsibilities

  • Carry out in-process calibration of toolsets and hardware at manufacturing sites
  • Ensure all equipment meets strict quality standards to enable customer delivery requirements
  • Work as part of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Team
  • Engage with key stakeholders across Integrated Project Teams
  • Proactively approach risk reduction to prevent and resolve issues and remove non-value-add processes

Requirements

  • Strong quality mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with calibration methodologies, certifications, and lab environments
  • Metrology and mechanical skillset or experience in other technical inspection disciplines
  • IT literacy with database experience
  • Solid understanding of calibration, measurement principles, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and data-handling skills
  • Effective time management and workload prioritization

Preferred Qualifications

  • HNC/HND, Apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering qualification/experience
  • Training in metrology equipment and awareness of AS9100
  • Awareness of ISO or AS Quality standards, British Standards, ISO 10012, ISO17025, UKAS, or ANSI540
  • Experience in electronics manufacture
  • Experience with risk assessments or safety training
