Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, service, and troubleshoot instruments including rheometers, viscometers, and tensile testers
• Perform technical work both in-house and at various customer sites
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide technical status updates
• Document calibration data and generate service reports
• Maintain lab equipment and support occasional equipment sales

Requirements

• Mechanical and electrical/electronic proficiency
• Ability to travel frequently and occasionally on short notice
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks like climbing, kneeling, and standing
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on technical work experience
• Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, and techniques
• Experience with Electrical, Physical, or Mechanical Calibration
• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or higher degree in a technical field
• Basic soldering skills
