Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage the tracking, maintenance, and calibration of all in-house production and engineering equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Create and maintain maintenance procedures, schedules, and up-to-date documentation for electrical and automation systems
• Coordinate calibration and repair schedules with outside calibration sources
• Perform in-house calibration for selected equipment such as torque wrenches and pneumatic/electric screwdrivers
• Maintain accurate records of certification, calibration, and manufacturer repair information
• Evaluate calibration results to adjust intervals and classify conditions of use
• Train production operators on routine preventive maintenance tasks
• Work with purchasing to obtain required equipment by gathering information from users and vendors

Requirements

• Certification or Degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Technologies/Technician)
• 3-5 years of related experience in equipment maintenance or calibration
• Experience with engineering troubleshooting and repair of machines and equipment
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams
• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic areas
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
• Strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
