About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced calibration testing on various laboratory and plant equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
- Manage workload to meet production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with external calibration vendors to service instruments and equipment.
- Maintain organized and controlled documentation in compliance with GAMP, FDA, cGMP, and Good Documentation Practices.
- Report Out of Specification (OOS) results and perform necessary instrument adjustments.
- Manage inventory of calibration standards and consumable supplies.
- Perform data entry and database management in accordance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Support the onboarding of new equipment and instruments.
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates of calibration Work Instructions.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years of related experience and training.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- College-level mathematical skills.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to perform complex tasks across various programs.
- Full professional English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong reasoning skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and interpret technical instructions or diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Blue Mountain RAM.
- Experience utilizing a wide variety of calibration test equipment.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and complete emergent tasks unsupervised.
