Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
• Work directly with clients throughout the calibration process, providing updates and service information
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records and documentation
• Interact professionally with customers to provide excellent service and support

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel to customer locations with frequent overnight, out-of-state travel (up to 80% of the year)

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, methods, and techniques
• Experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration
• Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
• Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training
• Experience with IndySoft
