Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform independent calibration of measuring devices and instruments for electrical and physical quantities
• Maintain data within testing equipment management programs
• Create calibration instructions for standard testing equipment
• Develop calibration procedures using FLUKE MetCal software
• Determine calibration intervals and support departments with metrological tasks and questions
• Coordinate the shipment of measuring and testing equipment to external service providers or other Diehl Defence locations

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electrics, or electronics
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in calibrating electrical and physical quantities
• Knowledge of industry standards such as DIN EN 10012 or VDI/VDE/DGQ
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications
• Good English language skills
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of quality awareness
