Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations both in the shop and at customer sites
• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025
• Execute routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes
• Work directly with clients throughout the calibration process and provide status updates
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation
• Travel to customer locations across California and throughout the US as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods
• Experience in a technical or mechanical position
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, and techniques
• Experience with Manufacturer’s Quality Systems
• Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training
• Experience with IndySoft
