Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations both in the shop and at customer sites
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO 17025 and industry regulations
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation
• Work directly with clients to provide updates and excellent service throughout the process
• Travel to customer locations across Idaho and throughout the US as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration
• Experience working in a technical or mechanical position
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, and techniques
• Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training
• Experience with IndySoft
• Experience working with Manufacturer’s Quality Systems
