Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations in the shop
• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO17025
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes
• Calibrate devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
• Work directly with clients throughout the calibration process and provide status updates
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records and documentation
• Interact professionally with customers to provide excellent service

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration
• Experience working in a technical or mechanical position
• Ability to lift 50lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, and techniques
• Experience working with Manufacturers Quality Systems
• Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training
• Experience with IndySoft
