Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025
• Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
• Perform calibration, performance checks, repair, and maintenance on a wide variety of instruments
• Operate, maintain, and adjust calibration test equipment
• Review work processes and test results for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and answer questions
• Ensure all calibration complies with industry regulations and quality standards
• Conduct all tests safely in compliance with established safety standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate calibration records and documentation

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in high-temperature environments
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for electronic and computerized control systems
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of basic calibration experience
• Associate's degree in engineering, electronics, or other technical fields
• Technical degree or certificate
• Experience with IndySoft
