Calibration & Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly, and yearly calibration and verification of test equipment to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and recording devices, including analyzer curves and propane injection verification.
• Ensure accurate digital and printed records of all calibration and certification data.
• Act as the primary technical contact for calibration and certification issues during governmental audits.
• Operate and troubleshoot emissions test equipment and laboratory testing systems.
• Support Portable Emissions Measurement System (PEMS) testing activities.
• Assist in the development of new test procedures to meet state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate with international colleagues to maintain global compliance and internal standards.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, chemical, or environmental engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental engineering (or equivalent).
• Specific knowledge of Emissions Equipment Calibrations.
• Experience working within ISO17025 standards.
• Knowledge of emission testing processes per CFR (Code of Federal Regulations).
• Proficiency with Test Bench and Dynamometer systems and calibrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental engineering.
• Experience with Inca Measurement tools and system integration.
