About the role
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, isometric views, and manufacturing projects
- Perform layout markings using manual tools such as scales, compasses, squares, and punches
- Execute the movement and lifting of materials, parts, and equipment
- Identify various materials used in boilermaking processes
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
- Fabricate basic piping, metallic structures, and parts using tools such as torches, grinders, plasma cutters, shears, and drills
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of bending machines, rollers, presses, and guillotines
- Proficiency in electric welding and oxy-fuel cutting equipment
- Intermediate knowledge of mathematics for layout development
- Minimum of completed elementary education
- Technical certification in Boilermaking, Mechanical Technician, or Welding
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in electric welding
- Previous experience working in an industrial segment
