Calculation Engineer in FEM and Strength of Materials

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical calculations within various CAE areas such as structural dynamics and non-linear problems
• Work on complex projects involving fast-acting processes
• Execute assignments both at the AFRY office and on-site at customer locations
• Collaborate with international and local customers in sectors like defense, aerospace, and space

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (M, F, or V tracks)
• Solid education in strength of materials and structural mechanics
• Proficiency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to explain complex technical terms to others
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial software such as LS-DYNA, Abaqus, or Nastran
