Calculation and Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Elaborate digital and physical validation plans in compliance with project documentation
• Perform calculations and write calculation reports and meeting minutes
• Participate in Product Performance Reviews and manage associated action plans (FMEA, Technical Design Review)
• Establish physical validation plans and construction hypotheses
• Define project indicators including compliance matrices for calculations and tests
• Draft laboratory specification documents and subcontracting requirements for testing
• Plan the availability of digital assets (meshing, etc.) and supplies (test supports, equipment, parts)
• Guarantee product compliance with client requirements and compile validation files for initial sample acceptance
• Establish calculation/test correlation reports, project capitalization reports, and factory transfer files

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical engineering, calculation, or validation
• Significant experience in calculation and validation within the industrial sector
• Proficiency in numerical simulation tools such as ANSYS or Nastran
• Mastery of LS Dyna and crash simulation software
• Ability to lead technical projects and work in multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in project management and external coordination
