Cake Decorator

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and specialty desserts to quality and design standards
• Execute standard designs and custom orders accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
• Ensure all decorated products meet company presentation and quality guidelines
• Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production goals
• Properly label, date, and rotate products according to food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff on order details and timelines
• Provide input on seasonal designs, new product ideas, and display setups

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cake decorating experience preferred
• Strong skills with buttercream, piping, borders, and writing
• Attention to detail with a focus on consistent quality and speed
• Ability to follow decorating standards and replicate house designs
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
