About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch items according to written and verbal instructions
- Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen, serving, and dining areas during meal service
- Operate the point of sale system and accurately record meals served
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures per safety guidelines
- Set up and break down serving areas and cafeteria spaces
- Receive food deliveries and assist with stocking, rotating, and organizing inventory
- Provide courteous and respectful service to students, staff, and visitors
