Cafeteria Assistant III

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality food products while maintaining established standards and presentation requirements
• Assist with all aspects of kitchen operations, including hot and cold food preparation, banquets, and special events
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and food handling regulations
• Ensure proper food storage using first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory practices
• Assist in controlling food costs and reducing waste through efficient preparation and inventory management
• Work collaboratively with chefs, service staff, and guests to provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food service, café, restaurant, hospitality, or commercial kitchen environments
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with company policies
