About the role

Responsibilities

  • Engage with cafe guests to create a culture of hospitality
  • Understand the food and beverage menu to provide suggestions and answer questions
  • Manage and solve guest recovery situations effectively
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the cafe
  • Complete tasks and prep as assigned by Team Lead or Student Cafe Executive Officer
  • Collaborate with a diverse team in a fast-paced service environment

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to remember and recall complex menu and operations details
  • Able to stand, walk, and smile for extended periods
  • Able to stoop, kneel, and lift or carry up to 35 lbs
  • Able to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
