About the Company

Founded in 2012, Ascension Coffee proudly opened its first café in the Design District and continues to be a pioneer of specialty coffee in North Texas. Our cafés reflect our belief in the importance of a stress-free and inviting atmosphere where community can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of café operations including hiring, training, scheduling, and team leadership
• Oversee inventory management, profit and loss, hospitality, and food safety
• Achieve goals related to Sales, COGs, Labor, and Pace
• Meet deadlines for inventory, invoice, payroll, and schedule submission
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and manage the R&M budget
• Drive sales growth through improved service, merchandising, and local marketing/events
• Implement brand standards and inspire passion and engagement across teams

Requirements

• Ability to work at least 45 hours per week in the café
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to all locations
• Availability to work nights and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods (approximately 8 hours per workday)
• Strong team building and communication skills
• High initiative, self-management, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty coffee experience
