Cafe Attendant

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests and take food and drink orders in a friendly, polite, and efficient manner
• Process and prepare food and drink orders while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
• Handle cash and charge transactions, including balancing the drawer at the start and end of shifts
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning and stocking supplies
• Complete side duties and other tasks as assigned to ensure excellent customer service

Requirements

• Current Arizona Food Handlers Card
• At least six months of basic food or customer service experience
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire through company training
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Flexibility to work varied shifts
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light to medium physical work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a cafe or restaurant setting within a high-end health club, country club, or resort
• Back of the House experience
