Cafe Attendant

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing of the Café
• Preparation of food and beverages to customer expectations
• Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard recipes
• Ensure all areas are fully stocked during services periods, including food items, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables
• Maintain stock levels including stock takes
• Ensure all cash handling is accurate and is in line with the cash handling process
• Barista duties including preparing and serving espresso-based coffees, teas, and other beverages

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role in a café or restaurant
• Exceptional personal presentation and grooming
• Strong organisational and written/verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a focus on safety, environment, and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Australian work rights
• Food Handling Certificate
• Current Police Clearance (no older than 12 months)
• Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Evidence of required immunisations (Hep B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, Polio)
