CAEC Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee CAEC testing centre operations, activities, and daily processes across Ontario
• Supervise the recruitment, training, and performance management of English and French-speaking examiners and proctors
• Review and implement personalized assessment plans and accommodation requests for adult candidates
• Facilitate and oversee off-site and group assessments, ensuring proper supervision and resource allocation
• Verify assessment results for accuracy and manage academic records, including transcripts and certificates
• Manage annual agreements, amendments, and assessment schedules for instructors, proctors, and testing locations
• Support the CAEC Administrator with annual negotiations for testing center rooms and rates

Requirements

• University degree in Education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.)
• Three years of experience in high school or adult education
• Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, cultural sensitivity, and customer service excellence
