CAE Analyst (FEA)

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM)
• Generate finite element meshes
• Define boundary conditions and loads according to project requirements
• Interpret results and prepare technical reports
• Execute static, modal, and dynamic analyses
• Conduct linear and non-linear analyses (contact, plasticity, geometric non-linearity)
• Perform fatigue and durability studies
• Conduct structural optimization
• Correlate numerical models with experimental data (Strain Gages, Accelerometers, Load Cells, LVDT, etc.)

Requirements

• Knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM)
• Solid knowledge of Solid Mechanics
• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive, Aerospace, or Production Engineering
• Intermediate English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HyperWorks (HyperMesh and HyperView), Abaqus, and nCode
• Experience in linear and non-linear structural analyses, fatigue, optimization, and dynamics
• Knowledge of data acquisition and experimental correlation
• Experience with light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles (trucks and buses)
