CAE Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-processing including mesh generation and subsystem assembly (welds, adhesives, bolts, rivets)
• Model suspensions, springs, and shock absorbers based on physical test characterization
• Prepare material property cards from physical specimen tests
• Conduct durability, strength, stiffness, or impact analyses
• Perform non-linear, quasi-static, and dynamic analyses
• Execute post-processing including stress and strain analysis and generation of force/displacement/energy curves
• Correlate virtual models with physical tests and propose countermeasures

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• Experience in durability, strength, stiffness, or impact areas
• Experience with non-linear, quasi-static, and dynamic analyses
• Proficiency in Ansa/Meta, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, and nCode
• Advanced English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate or advanced Spanish
• Previous experience with commercial vehicle simulation
• Experience with UNECE regulation simulations (ECE R29, ECE R58, etc.)
