CAD Technician

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings in accordance with company standards and client specifications
• Coordinate drawings with multidisciplinary engineering teams including civil, structural, geotechnical, and temporary works disciplines
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control procedures
• Work in accordance with BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 standards for information management and collaborative delivery
• Support clash detection and model coordination activities
• Assist in producing construction sequencing and temporary works drawings
• Comply with CDM 2015 regulations and company HSEQ procedures
• Support commercial teams by providing drawing outputs for tenders and as-built documentation

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Working knowledge of BIM360, ProjectWise, or similar CDE platforms
• Experience producing infrastructure, utility, and reinforced concrete drawings
• Understanding of tunnelling methods such as SCL and TBM environments
• Ability to interpret engineering calculations and design mark-ups
• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or CAD-related discipline
• 2+ years of relevant infrastructure or ground engineering experience
• Knowledge of UK drawing standards and construction detailing
