CAD Technician

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for drawing production and provide technical support to team members
• Ensure all drawing work complies with ISO 19650, BAM, and CAD standards
• Support the Document Control team by reviewing drawings prior to client submission
• Produce accurate rebar design and detailing work with high attention to detail
• Train and mentor site engineers and team members on drawing production standards

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proven experience in rebar design and checking
• Strong understanding of civil and structural design principles
• Basic awareness of ISO 19650 (Level 2 BIM) or BS1192 standards
• Must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country
• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
• Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance

About the Company

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and BAM Nuttall. We are currently working on a significant major project at the Devonport Royal Dockyard, refurbishing the Royal Navy dockyard.
