CAD Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide technical input and guidance for 2D and 3D drawing production
• Develop and train engineering resources in CAD design deliverables
• Manage and develop common working methods for CAD design to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Ensure CAD quality control and checking processes are communicated and met
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical quality management procedures and specifications

Requirements

• Minimum NVQ level 4 or HNC in a relevant CAD subject
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a CAD role delivering construction engineering projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• GCSE pass (C or higher) in Mathematics and English
• Fluent spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience planning CAD design delivery budgets and resource execution
• Experience tracking and reporting on CAD production progress
• Experience working with remote resources
