Responsibilities

• Interpret component data sheets submitted by engineers
• Enter part data, attributes, and metadata into ECAD and MCAD environments
• Execute documented processes for library management with precision
• Manage electrical component attributes including ratings, voltage ranges, and connector types
• Manage mechanical component attributes including dimensions, material properties, and thread specifications
• Field follow-up questions from engineers regarding data sheet inconsistencies
• Maintain consistent, auditable records of all library additions and modifications

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience as a drafter, designer, or in a CAD support role
• Hands-on experience with at least one CAD tool (electrical or mechanical)
• Ability to read and interpret component data sheets
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by U.S. law due to export-controlled information
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX
