CAD Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define battery pack systems by balancing product functions, customer specifications, and manufacturing constraints.
• Perform technical studies including stack-up analysis and mechanical calculations, integrating simulation results.
• Act as the guarantor for design deliverables, ensuring 3D models and drawings meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Define component functionality in collaboration with suppliers and internal divisions such as purchasing and laboratory.
• Contribute to the development of design tools, guides, procedures, and checklists to improve engineering methods.

Requirements

• Engineering Technician or Engineer degree.
• Mastery of CAD design tools, specifically CATIA or UG Nx.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, stack-up analysis, and ISO quotation standards.
• Experience with battery pack manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in plastic and metallic part design.
• Understanding of thermal management, electronics, and electrical harnesses.
• Experience with Design FMEA and CAD quality tools.
• Proficiency in English.
