CAD Engineer

Responsibilities

• Innovate to develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase design efficiency and quality for NAND, DRAM, and HBM memory designs
• Evaluate, develop, enhance, and debug both in-house and commercial EDA tools and flows for CMOS integrated circuit design, physical layout, and verification
• Provide training, documentation, and technical support to end-users on new tools and methods
• Collaborate closely with design teams, process teams, vendors, and customers

Requirements

• Excellent programming fundamentals
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in SKILL or Python programming languages
• Experience with Unix and shell scripting

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Engineering (CE), including VLSI circuit design and software
• Experience with IC design CAD tools, including schematics, layouts, simulation, and verification tools
• Direct experience with CMOS implementation, including area, speed, and power tradeoffs
• Experience with C, C++, JAVA, Visual Basic, Perl, or Lisp
