CAD Engineer/Librarian Associate

Responsibilities

• Model and draw components, structures, and manifolds for the spacecraft and its supporting structures
• Maintain and improve the design library and data infrastructure
• Develop, ideate, and document engineering practices to enable efficient design

Requirements

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or an equivalent technical degree (e.g., physics, applied math, or industrial design)
• Proficiency with SolidWorks
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the design of complex assemblies and components
• Experience in the design of spaceflight components and/or vacuum compatible systems
• Experience with surface modeling
