CAD Engineer

Responsibilities

• Produce batches of drawings including plan and vertical sections, geology profiles, monitoring plans, and shaft general arrangements
• Manage 3D/2D model data and drawing packages within a common data environment
• Develop and maintain draughting and CAD standards
• Ensure CAD models comply with internal QA systems, client standards, and BIM procedures
• Prepare scheme designs under supervision
• Identify and resolve spatial coordination and arrangement issues
• Assist the CAD Manager with quality control of modelling works

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a CAD technician
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Ability to generate and manipulate surfaces, alignments, and surface profiles in Civil 3D
• Minimum BTEC level in civil engineering or a similar engineering field
• Experience working in a construction or engineering environment
• Working knowledge of BIM processes and Common Data Environments (CDE)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Steelwork detailing
• Knowledge of RC detailing
• Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, or MicroStation
