CAD Drafter

Responsibilities

• Create and process technical drawings and construction plans using CAD systems, including floor plans, building services, electrical plans, and process diagrams.
• Support the development and implementation of technical projects and drawing standards.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure all technical requirements are met.
• Maintain and update drawing data and technical documentation.
• Review plan and "as-built" documentation from external companies to ensure compliance with CAD and quality standards.
• Manage drawing equipment, including CAD software, plotters, and scanners.
• Assist in the review, control, and filing of maintenance and inspection documents.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Technical Drafter, CAD Drafter, Technical System Planner, or a comparable qualification.
• Proficient knowledge of common CAD programs (e.g., AutoCAD, MS-Visio) and standard MS Office applications.
• Strong technical understanding and a meticulous, structured way of working.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
• Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Initial professional experience in a technical environment.
