CAD Designer

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D geometry and 2D drawings focusing on aesthetic integrity and manufacturability
• Collaborate with design and production teams to develop visually compelling products and fixtures
• Develop new design concepts, materials, and finishes aligned with brand heritage
• Apply expertise in material properties for precious metals, plastics, and wood
• Inspect physical prototypes against 3D models to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Organize and store design data and technical documentation effectively

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D modeling with a focus on design aesthetics
• Proficiency in Rhinoceros 7 (minimum 2,000 hours)
• Experience with ZBrush for organic modeling and intricate designs
• Experience with SolidWorks for tooling and precision design
• Experience creating manufacturing documents such as BOMs and assembly drawings
• Ability to design for manufacturing (DFM) without compromising artistry
• Submission of a portfolio showcasing aesthetic-driven 3D modeling projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rapid prototyping or CNC processes
• Experience with 3D printing for design validation
• Familiarity with 3D scanning tools and processes
• Proficiency in KeyShot for high-quality rendering
