CAD Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D design of parts and sub-assemblies (plastic, sheet metal, mechanical)
• Produce 2D drawings including functional dimensioning and tolerancing
• Ensure compliance with design rules (DFM, DFA)
• Manage packaging and multi-disciplinary integration
• Participate in design reviews
• Track technical modifications (ECR/ECO)
• Collaborate with calculation, simulation, quality, industrialization, and supplier teams
• Maintain data consistency within PLM tools
• Verify technical and industrial feasibility

Requirements

• Master's degree or Engineering degree (Bac+5)
• Experience as a CAD Designer in mechanical design and product integration
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, CREO, or NX (Siemens)
• Expertise in mechanical design, plastic injection, and sheet metal design
• Knowledge of ISO dimensioning, GD&T, and functional tolerancing
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection, stamping, and machining
• Proficiency in PLM tools like ENOVIA, Teamcenter, or Windchill
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications
