About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain structured copper and fiber optic cabling, network switches, and wireless access points
- Manage uplinks, link aggregation, failover readiness, and high-availability connectivity between server rooms and buildings
- Maintain ODFs, patch panels, racks, and proper cable labeling according to best practices
- Monitor and optimize network performance, enterprise Wi-Fi coverage, and system reliability
- Maintain network topology, cabling diagrams, and infrastructure documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, software, and cabling issues
- Support infrastructure rollouts, relocations, and international site deployments
Requirements
- Experience with structured cabling systems (copper and fiber optic infrastructure)
- Knowledge of network hardware installation and configuration (switches, wireless access points)
- Understanding of network redundancy, high-availability architectures, and failover concepts
- Experience with ODFs, patch panels, and rack installations
- Strong troubleshooting skills across network, cabling, and hardware environments
- Experience maintaining technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi design and optimization
- Experience installing and maintaining server hardware and operating systems
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or structured cabling certifications
- Experience working with multi-site or global infrastructure environments
