Cable Labeling and Bundling Technician

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply labels to both ends of fiber and Cat6 cables according to project documentation and naming conventions
• Bundle cables neatly using Velcro straps or approved ties, package by job/rack/zone, and stage for shipment or deployment
• Inspect cables for correct labeling, lengths, and physical integrity before bundling
• Track completed bundles, update internal logs, and report discrepancies or shortages to the warehouse lead
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist in managing labeling supplies

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand cable schedules, layouts, and labeling plans
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to follow verbal instructions
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive hand tasks for extended periods
• Willingness to adhere to safety and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in cable management or IT infrastructure projects
• Basic understanding of fiber and Ethernet cable types and uses
