Cabinetmaker

Responsibilities

• Use various machinery and hand tools to fabricate custom furniture, including conference tables, workstations, reception desks, and credenzas
• Glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together to form complete units
• Trim component parts of joints to ensure proper fit
• Assemble custom commercial office furniture constructed of wood, granite, glass, and metal

Requirements

• 3-5 years of woodworking experience, preferably in the furniture industry
• Ability to interpret shop drawings
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience demonstrating performance competency
