About the role
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate machines including power saws, jointers, planers, edge banders, and shapers
- Cut materials to size and trim parts to ensure snug fit
- Produce and assemble cabinets, furniture, or fixtures
- Read cabinet and project plans and review methods with team leader
- Produce panels, components, jigs, and storage boxes
- Maintain a clean manufacturing space and work area daily
- Perform spray finishing tasks or learn new finishing skills
Requirements
- 1-year experience in woodshop manufacturing cabinetry
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite and Slack
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel for short job-related trips
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Carpentry or rough carpentry experience
- Experience with basic machine maintenance
- Understanding of building systems and techniques
- Experience operating a CNC machine
- Spray finishing skills
